CHARACTERISTICS AND FEATURES OF INDIA
India used to be a dominion of the British Empire and since 1947, it has been independent and since 1950, it has been a republic with a prime minister.
Besides, India is a multicultural country with diverse religions, various languages and different ethnies.
Moreover, tradition is deeply rooted, however, modernity is also present.
To conclude, India is located in Asia near the Indian Ocean and it is surrounded by several countries: Nepal, Pakistan and China. The inhabitants are numerous that's why India has the second largest population in the world after china.
